Woodcote Rally , Oxon - Sat 14th July 2018
To be honest I can't say much about this gig, as I was away and they had a dep drummer in for the gig.
Apparently it was very hot, and the dep drummer was very, very good. I have some photos somewhere of this gig that someone emailed to me, I may print them and then burn them, the traitors.
The Acoustic Couch, Bracknell - Sat 30th June 2018
Called in last minute to support the lovely Dead Eyed Smiles, a very hot evening, awesome venue, lovely people.
We really enjoyed playing at The Acoustic Couch, it is a brilliantly unique venue in the heart of Bracknell, which supports live music and local performers, and is community based. These sorts of places are rare, and so deserve to be supported - go and take a look at their website, and give it a visit! https://theacousticcouch.co.uk
RokeFest, Oxon - Fri 25th May 2018
RokeFest was so good it deserved it's own full page write up, check it out here!
Or you can check out the vid below!
The Eldon Arms, Reading - Sat 31st Mar 2018
Our first gig of the year! We had a great time @ The Edon Arms, a real pub with proper ales in Reading.
We had a fantastic group of punters dancing away and rocking out to the tunes, a really good crowd.
The Mighty Black Lion, Woodcote - Fri 22nd Dec 2017
The last Friday before Christmas, what a night! A packed pub, punters dancing, lots of laughs, fantastic landlord as usual.
We even busted out a well known Christmas song for the encore. Lot's of happy/drunk faces by the end of it all, a night to remember and we really hope to play The Black Lion again sometime in 2018!
The Eldon Arms, Reading - Sat 28th Oct 2017
No footage exists of this gig, no photo's either. But we had a great time playing this proper pub in Reading!
Being very near Halloween, there was a man-sized chicken, and a banana, as well as the usual zombie locals getting down, dancing and drinking.
A big thanks to Rob & Sat for having us play. If you are ever in that part of Reading, pop in and have one of the real ales on offer. Good stuff!
TapFest - The Brewery Tap, Abingdon - Sat 7th Oct 2017
TapFest, no Spinal Tap, but us instead! The Brewery Tap, Abingdon was on top form, a real ale festival going down, loads of people trying out the excellent ales, and dancing to some rock classics!
Here's a vid of us playing Doom & Gloom by the The Rolling Stones:
It was bloody hot in the pub, and we had a ruddy good time!
Claire & Stuarts 70th, The Black Horse, Checkendon - Sat 30th Sept 2017
It was Claires 40th, and Stuarts 30th, so they held a 70th Birthday party in a field, with a big marquee, a hog-roast, some tractors, us and A LOT OF MUD!
We had an excellent time playing, and the audience loved it, so much that we played pretty much every song we know! Check out these pics:
Tap Social Movement, Botley Oxford - Fri 1st Sept 2017
The Tap Social Movement is a great place, micro-brewery on site, street food vendors out the front & on Fri 1st us playing two sets inside.
Fantastic beer, and a good atmosphere, it's a really unique place that we hope to play at again!
Party On The Rec, Nettlebed - Sat 15th Jul 2017
Party On The Rec in Nettlebed, held at the cricket ground. It was a quintessentially English summer event, warm but slightly overcast with a threat of rain. :)
We had a great time playing for the crowd on the hay bales, round the ale tent, or propped up by the Pimms wagon. There was a fire juggler performing while we played, a bit close to those oh so flammable hay bales, but the audience loved it!
Hopefully we'll have some pics up soon, when they come back from being developed at Boots the chemist.
Whittfest, The Plough Inn, Fri 23rd Jun 2017
The Plough Inn in Long Whittenham is a lovely pub, with a big garden that goes down to the Thames! Each year they do 'Whittfest' in the pub garden, with big marquee & stage for the music, plus camping, kids stuff and obviously booze!
We had a great time playing!
The Crown Inn, Benson, Sat 17th Jun 2017
On what seemed like the hottest day of the year, we sweated it out @ The Crown, running through some Hot Rock classics! We had people dancing to Free's 'Alright Now', even though it too hot to do anything but drink!
We're looking forward to playing at The Crown again soon! One of the regulars kept asking us to play Kenny Rogers songs, so we played some AC/DC instead!
The Butchers Arms, Sonning Common, Sat 6th May 2017
We had another great night at the Butchers! We had the regular crowd in, and bought some of our own along to rock out with us!
A good time had by all! Respect to the guy who kept telling us we were awesome for keeping these songs alive!!!
The Black Lion, Woodcote, Sat 1st April 2017
Back again at this great local boozer to celebrate John & Maggy's 30th anniversary of being @ The Black Lion, a great night with some guest spots on vocals, sung by the locals!
The Town Arms, Wallingford, Fri 31st March 2017
The Town Arms by the bridge in Wallingford, here's a vid of us rocking out, and punters getting down!
Unplugged @ Home Sweet Home Roke, Sun 8th Jan 2017
Home Sweet Home is a lovely old pub, and they are starting an open mike night. We were invited down to play an acoustic set alongside a couple of singer/songwriters and a sea shanty band!
This should become a regular event at Home Sweet Home, every first Sunday of the month from Feb onwards. Check it out!
The Butchers Arms, Sonning Common - 31st Dec 2016
New Years Eve! A sold out bash at this great pub in Sonning Common.
2 sets played, from 9:30 to just before midnight and once the New Year had arrived we continued to play till 1am! And we'll be back at The Butchers Arms in April 2017.
We also recorded some of the set, have a listen here!
The Black Lion, Woodcote - 17th Dec 2016
A pre-Christmas rock-out at this great local pub in Woodcote. Lots of familiar faces, a great atmosphere, and some backing vocals at the end of the night by John the landlord!
